They would have been swallowed up by their enemies; waters would have engulfed them; raging waters would have swept over their soul; they would have been torn by their enemies; their souls would have been ensnared....had it not been the Lord who was on their side.
I would have been overcome by my addictions; I would have been destroyed by that tragedy; I would have been frozen by my insecurities; Those raging doubts would have swept over my soul; I would have been lost and in despair...had it not been the Lord who was on my side.
I challenge you to remind yourself and even write down what would have been had it not been the Lord on your side.
