Quick update

Friends, we obviously have not been good about keeping up with this blog.There are a ton of things I have thought I'm going to blog about and then never sit down to do so.

We have been consumed with the adoption process lately. We are finally on the homestretch and it feels so good to be on this end. Throughout the next couple of weeks, I'm going to write about some things that God has been doing in us.

So, I'm going to try and get this thing updated a bit more frequently and am hoping I have a little more time for it:)

We are still here!

We didn't mean to take such a long break from posting on here! Life has gotten the best of us. There's so much to update on. I'm finally feeling inspired so hope to have some posts up soon. Brandon has lots brewing as well. It's been (and still is) a season of growth for us individually and as a couple. Can't wait to share what's been on our minds. Thanks for sticking with us!!

Need to blog!

We have so much going on that we need to/want to blog about. We'll have to sit down one day and write it all out for you:) For now, I'm battling a major cold (not the flu though!) and Brandon has been busy at work. Just wanted you all to know we haven't vanished- ha ha.

Zooming into focus

Do you ever feel like you have a ton to write about but can't seem to nail it down.My head is all over the place. From today to our future to...like I said, it's all over the place.

How do you get your "focus" back? I mean, nailing down that ONE purpose or ONE goal? Or do you constantly feel like you are juggling several different things that are all so important?

That's where I'm at. I think I will be there for a while and that's OK. So, where are YOU at? Are you feeling scattered or focused? Narrowing in or broadening your scope?

2) Anne Jackson- Anne is at it again! She is trying to raise enough money for 50,000 pairs of shoes for orphans. Our church did something similar recently and it's a great cause. Go over there and sign up. It's only $2.50 for a pair of shoes!! You can spare 5 bucks, right??


3) Tony Morgan- Tony is talking about how we should resign from our jobs if we are not in our "dream job". They have tons of discussion happening over there so go check it out!!

You are able to have posts from your favorite bloggers delivered to you rather than going to all of their sites individually to see if they are updated. Plus- you don't have to try to remember blog addresses.

Exciting news for bargain shoppers!

I have started a blog all about saving money, being frugal, where to find deals, some things I have learned along the way, etc. Check it out

The blog you are reading right now will stay the same. (hopefully we can lure Brandon out of his cave to post more though!). We will still be talking about ministry, family, etc. The other blog is for people with a bargain hunter/frugal mentality.

I've been wanting to do this for a while so finally did. (As if I truly need 2 blogs to keep up with!)

Got a question for you......

OK- so B and I are pretty new to the blogosphere. We are starting to get a little more comfortable, but still have those thoughts like 'Did that come out right?" or "Do you think this sounds good?". I'm so glad we have each other as a soundboard. We post on this blog about 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) and usually take the weekends off. We rotate posting just about every other day. You have read family stuff, deep thoughts, funny articles, Internet campus info, etc. Well, you know what you've read!

We have ideas and thoughts flying around in our head daily. It's funny how when you start a blog you begin to ask think "This is something I have to blog about."

So, I was curious. What would you like to hear more about from the Donaldson family? Do you enjoy the family posts? The deeper theological ones? Or a mixture of all of the above? Are you interested in hearing more about the Internet campus? Send some ideas, suggestions, or questions our way if you get a chance.
